More enhancements to Orders module

The #cmsms e-commerce suite is getting more enhancements to deal with multiple payments per order.
Category: Modules

A valued sponsor has contracted me allow people making reservations using the availability module to place a 'deposit' (some fraction of the total reservation) and pay for it using the payment gateways.

This will be done with the Orders module as it already handles things like taxes and shipping (if necessary, etc)...

As part of that modification, I need to modify the orders module to keep track of multiple payments per order.   So that you can pay for the deposit (say 25% of the order).... and then later pay the remaining balance due.

This is gonna be great for all kinds of websites, and linking the availability module into the orders module will give all kinds of flexibility for web sites to do all kinds of e-commerce stuff.

I just thought I'd keep you posted on what's up-and-coming.

Thanks: Many thanks again to Matterhorn Marketing.
