Google Maps and Icons
I'm working on adding customizable icons to CGGoogleMaps

Actually, I'm done.... it works. I can now add named icons to the CGGoogleMaps module and then I can specify the icon to use for each static point. CGGoogleMaps comes with a pre-built set of icons for you to use. Cool eh.
I've attached a picture of a static map for your reference (click on it to open it up in LightBox).
I can even specify which named icon to use for each dynamically added point (points added via smarty). So this is cool too.
The last part of the puzzle to work on is modifying CompanyDirectory so that it can specify (by category) which icon to use when adding a dynamic point.
Once I get this finished I'll be releasing CompanyDirectory and CGGoogleMaps... and I'll probably write a blog article about it. stay tuned.
