Gift Giving E-commerce
A sponsored project related to the E-commerce suite of modules for CMS Made Simple are underway. This includes a new module for managing many baskets, each with different delivery addresses.
This project involves writing a new module for CMS Made Simple called ManyBaskets. This module will allow creating many different baskets, each with different names and shipping addresses, allow you to add products from the Products module to any specific basket, and provide complete management capabilities for all of the baskets. This module will be perfect for things like corporate gift giving, or drop shipping sites.
Additionally, I'll be working on changes to the Orders module to handle multiple different shipping addresses in one order. I'll probably even add the ability to delete orders (though this will require a seperate permission), and to re-generate an invoice for any particular order at any time.
